The Mueller report came out over the weekend and caused a lot of commotion in politics and across the web. Many are jumping to conclusions before it has even been released in full to the public. Here is what we know about the Mueller report at this time:

1.) Nothing If Not Thorough

Attorney General Barr stated that the investigation was nothing if not thorough. The Mueller team consisted of 19 lawyers and 40 FBI special agents. The team issued almost 3,000 subpoenas, executed just under 500 search warrants, and had interviewed more than 500 separate witnesses.

2.) No Sufficient Evidence

Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein and Attorney General William Barr came out to say after seeing the report that there was not sufficient evidence to prove that the President committed obstruction of justice. This would mean that the top legal official in the country has recommended no charges are needed for Donald Trump as he has committed no crime.

3.) Confidential Information

Attorney General Barr said that the Mueller report is confidential and the full document is for only a select few in office. That said, he is working to redact portions that the law restricts from view so members of Congress can get a look at the document.

4.) No Collusion

The special counsel is reporting that despite the incredible effort of the Russian agents there were no members of the Trump campaign that colluded with them. This means that there was no Russian collusion with the Trump campaign even though Russian agents tried to achieve collusion.

5.) Democrat Response

In response to these findings, many in Congress are challenging the findings and demanding new investigations. Democratic Rep. Jerry Nadler was one of the first to step up and claim that Trump should still be investigated.
