August 23, 2008 A most interesting report received today from Bishop Michael of Geneva and Western Europe Diocese, a member of the Council of Bishops, Russian Orthodox Church Outside of Russia, is claiming that that the US Presidential Candidate Barak Obama’s choice of Senator Joseph Biden [pictured at left with Edward Kennedy and Barak Obama] for his Vice President ‘clearly shows’ that the Vatican is vying for control of the United States for the first time since their last attempt ended with the assassination of President John F. Kennedy. Senator Biden was born of Irish Catholic ancestry, educated by the Catholic Norbertine Order at one of their most prestigious, and secretive, schools named Archmere Academy, became one of youngest ever elected US Senators (like John F. China confiscates Bibles from American Christians

Posted 8/22/08 BEIJING (AP) — A group of American Christians who had more than 300 Bibles confiscated by Chinese officials when they arrived in China is refusing to leave the airport until they get the books back, their leader said Monday. Pat Klein said he and three others from his Vision Beyond Borders group spent Sunday night at the airport in the southwestern city of Kunming after customs officers took the Bibles from their checked luggage. "I heard that there's freedom of religion in China, so why is there a problem for us to bring Bibles?" said Klein, whose Sheridan, Wyoming-based group distributes Bibles and Christian teaching materials around the world. The Bibles were printed in Chinese, he told The Associated Press in a telephone interview. Crusaders sue the Pope

August 5, 2008 MADRID: The heirs of the Knights Templar have launched a legal battle in Spain against the Pope to salvage the reputation of the order accused of heresy and dissolved 701 years ago. Members of the Association of the Sovereign Order of the Temple of Christ claim that when the order was dissolved by Clement V in 1307 more than 9000 properties and commercial ventures belonging to the knights (worth $168 billion) were appropriated by the church. "We are not trying to cause the economic collapse of the Roman Catholic Church, but to illustrate to the court the magnitude of the plot against our order," the self-proclaimed modern-day knights said in a statement. July 18, 2008 A confidential "Interim Report of the Special Investigative Committee of the Joint Boards of Shriners Hospitals for Children" describes how immediate past potentate Bernard Lemieux appointed a committee to investigate the conduct of Shriner leaders, Ralph Semb, Chairman of the Shriners Hospitals for Children Board of Trustees and Gene Bracewell, Imperial Treasurer Shriners International Imperial Divan.
