Interesting timing! This formation is of interest because of the fact that many night watchers were watching this field on the night it appeared. They left the area at dawn apparently seeing no circle. It was light by this time. The formation was seem at about 7 am by Karen Bishop. More information on this to follow.
It was a very popular formation to visit and enjoyed by many. |

I came to this event just after a visit to South Field. I couldn't make out what the formation was from the hill and thought it was rather like a snake. On arriving though I was surprised to find it was a six pointed star. I was wondering how this fitted in with the Mayan theme, maybe it does. Quetzalcoatl is often referred to as the Morning Star.
The formation is very good in construction all the overlays are very good but are being kicked about a bit by numerous visitors. There is something here for everyone, tufts, spirals, knots and bowls. Well worth a visit
