Putin Orders ‘First Strike’ Against US Forces Over Kosovo

In reading the latest Military and Intelligence reports circulating in the Kremlin today one cannot help but have the feeling that our World has entered into a Time Warp and instead of this being 2007, we have been plunged back 93 years to 1914. In 1914, after the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand, the Austro-Hungarian Empire issued an ultimatum to the Russian backed Serbian government, and who instead of bending to the Western Powers mobilized for war.  The resulting aftermath of the First World War left over 40 million dead with an additional 50 million human beings killed by the Spanish Flu Epidemic spread around the World by Western military forces returning from war in 1918. Here in 2007, we, again, have the spectre of World War looming over us as Serbia, once again backed by Russia, is mobilizing for war due to the Western Powers intention to acknowledge the independence of the Serbian province of Kosovo, and which Russia has vowed will not be allowed to stand. This is coupled with China announcing the possible beginning of human-to-human Bird Flu transmission and Russia reporting another outbreak of this deadly disease and which the World Health Organization has warned will turn into a catastrophic pandemic.. » read more

Russia Orders Nuclear Weapons To High Alert, China Blocks US Warship

November 22, 2007 Russian Military Analysts are reporting today that President Putin has ordered Russia’s strategic nuclear arsenal to ‘high alert’ over growing concerns of massive US military troop movements from North America towards the Middle East. This latest war move by Putin mirrors his actions of previous weeks where he ordered Russian Military to move towards Eastern Europe, and as we had reported on in our November 9th report, "Putin Orders Troops To Border, War Crimes Trials For US Leaders". Britain’s Times Online News Service has, likewise, reported on Russia’s latest move against the West by quoting Putin, and who stated: “In violation of previous agreements, certain member countries of the NATO alliance are increasing their resources next to our borders. Russia cannot remain indifferent to this obvious muscle-flexing. One of the most important tasks remains raising the combat readiness of the strategic nuclear forces.. » read more

The uninvited guest: Chinese sub pops up in middle of U.S. Navy exercise, leaving military chiefs red-faced

When the U.S. Navy deploys a battle fleet on exercises, it takes the security of its aircraft carriers very seriously indeed.   At least a dozen warships provide a physical guard while the technical wizardry of the world's only military superpower offers an invisible shield to detect and deter any intruders.   That is the theory.. » read more

Russia's Undeniable War Preparations

Since 1998 I have publicly warned of Russia’s war preparations. The idea of preparing for nuclear war is absurd for most Americans, because the idea of nuclear war makes no sense in a consumer society. However that may be, Russia’s war preparations were as undeniable then as they are today. And Russia is not a consumer society. In the late 1990s Russia was refurbishing huge nuclear war bunkers and building underground cities.. » read more
