CNN's Acosta Proves Border Walls Work

Jim Acosta is at the border covering President Trump's visit there. While he was there he tried to prove that the wall is not needed but actually proved that walls, in fact, work.

According to The Daily Wire:

CNN's Jim Acosta traveled to Texas ahead of President Donald Trump's visit to the border and decided to go to the border to show that the president was wrong about was is happening and ended up showing that border walls work.

“Here are some of the steel slats that the president has been talking about, right here, as you can see, yes you can see through these slats to the other side of the U.S.-Mexico border,” Acosta said. “As we’re walking along here we’re not seeing any kind of imminent danger, there are no migrants trying to rush toward this fence here in the McAllen, Texas area.”

Acosta continued, noting that there was “no sign of the national emergency” that Trump has warned about as he stood next to the wall.

I found some steel slats down on the border. But I don’t see anything resembling a national emergency situation.. at least not in the McAllen TX area of the border where Trump will be today.

In another video, Acosta showed what he said was an area of the border that shows fencing with barbed wire, writing: "All quiet on this stretch of the border ahead of Trump’s visit to McAllen TX area.
The incredible irony is that Acosta actually proved that areas with the barrier are safe which is not what he intended, but it is great.
