When the BP Deepwater Horizon disaster killed over a million birds, the MBTA ensured BP paid $100 million in fines to help fix the damage. That money helped restore wetlands and support migratory bird conservation.

Now, migratory birds are in peril without the protections they need – help end this crisis!

This anti-wildlife administration has turned its backs on negligent behavior by "reinterpreting" bird protection laws to excuse industry-caused bird deaths as long as those birds weren’t killed on purpose.

That means companies no longer face legal responsibility for the preventable harm they cause to birds.

The public is strongly opposed to these changes, but the administration is putting special interests first. We need to act quickly to save birds: Tell your Representative to support the Migratory Bird Protection Act and end these killings right now!

We’re running out of time to act. It’s more urgent than ever that you ask your representative to support H.R. 5552 to make these companies responsible for avoiding preventable bird deaths!

If we don’t act to save migratory birds, corporations will get to keep ignoring the deaths they cause while they reap greater profits!

Millions of birds need our help right now – make sure your Representative knows where you stand today by sending them this quick note!

Thank you in advance for taking action to protect wildlife.

Sincerely,
