Families Begin To Live in Cars, RVs and Buses
As families and individuals run out of options in an imploding economy, the car, RV or in the case of this video, a bus becomes a last resort for housing. Steel and rubber are all that is stopping thousands of Americans from hitting the cold hard pavement. The main stream media is under reporting this development. First hand accounts from census workers in California tell of multiple families living together. Packing humans together often leads to social strife, depression, anxiety and sometimes violence. Often times, the unemployed male is held up as a scape goat and "evicted". Stripped of his income, dignity and love of the family, they turn to begging, alcohol and drugs. Some, for a time are able to sleep in their cars.
