At the same time you were taking action to try to stop genetic contamination of the organic industry, Big Ag and their corrupt allies in Congress were working to undermine your right to uncontaminated organic food. Earlier this week, three members of Congress sent a letter to Secretary Vilsack demanding that he rush the approval of Monsanto's GMO alfalfa, despite the scientific certainty that GMO alfalfa will contaminate one of the main feeds for organic livestock.²
