 Time range 18:00(EST)- 20:00

 CNN was on "the Box" in a social situation (no sound - I could only use the captions)

  Male "Talking Head" on a sound stage

 Caption reads (female reporter's name) via "HOLOGRAM FROM CHICAG\"

 then a female reporter appears -

 the edges of her body had a "Star Trex Transporter glow" & she was "standing" on a red circle.

 Did I see this correctly ???

 Did they acccidently give us too much infomation??

Mr. Bellringer,

I saw the hologram on CNN last night. They actually briefly explained a bit about the technology and how it was done. Seems they had 30+ cameras staged around the reporter, in a tent of some sort, and that is how they captured her image in 3D and broadcast it into their studio. The anchor was interviewing the female reporter that was on the site in Chicago. This afternoon one of their engineers was explaining it again but I was leaving and did not get to watch the entire explanation. I actually thought it was pretty cool technology.

It was not a true hologram just an overlay.  Wolf Blitzer or anyone in the studio could not realy see her, they were just pretending.  There was a tent set up in Chicago housing 36 high definition cameras arranged in a circle around the reporter.  Then the camera movements in the studio where synchronized with the cameras in Chicago to transmite the correct angle.  It was then overlayed on the transmitting tv broadcast just as the news ticker in the bottom is overlayed on the the screen.  Hope this awnsers his question.  JL

Ps. She`s not a real hologram (only digital) but she`s scanned in by using a range(in this case 35) of High Definition Camera`s that surround here at the location she`s standing at. So ìt`s a very large (and expensive) setup. It then transfers that information to mix with the camera`s at the CNN center so the viewers can see it directly. In reality however Wolf is talking to thin air because only the camera`s make it seem to the viewer that there is someone there.
