Why is the knowledge of true history so important?

It is said, if you do not learn from the past, you are doomed to repeat it. History, they say, is merely repeating itself. But why? Are we so unintelligent that we cannot recognise these patterns in order to draw any conclusions ourselves? No, we are not unintelligent. However, we have and are being manipulated into a bewildered state of complacency, by forces that take great advantage of our trust and naivety.

Our reality is made up of nothing more than a succession of stories we’ve been told, so if those stories are false… our reality is false.

One of the greatest crimes that can be perpetrated on a culture or society, is for another to rewrite history for personal gain, at the expense of that culture or society. Something vital is stolen from us every time an event is removed or rewritten in the name of propaganda and civilisation-sculpting… we become no different than an orphan who does not know their roots or where they came from, just a collective of lost sheep searching for other things to fill that void… thus easily led.

If the history we’ve been told is a lie, then of course we are going to repeat it, because we don’t know the truth regarding what caused it in the first place and what systems were at its core… thus giving it/them free reign to continue this pattern and we as a collective, become a supportive choir of agreement toward our own demise, as so many others in history have repeatedly done before us.

Welcome to Historical Tribune on a journey of discovery of our real history, so we can better understand how we actually arrived at where we are today, where it could all be heading and to possibly equip ourselves with the power of knowledge, in order to prevent history from repeating itself.
