When Feminists drone on and on about ‘choice’… there is ONE choice that they do not really think a woman ‘should’ make.
Melania has been a successful model as well as a businesswoman.
And she is now a committed mother.
She put her son’s needs first.
How very un-feminist of her — putting motherhood first and building a home for your family isn’t an appropriate choice in the eyes of feminists.
The great writer, philosopher, and theologian, C.S. Lewis had a very different view than feminists of today:
“The homemaker has the ultimate career. All other careers exist for one purpose only – and that is to support the ultimate career. ”
He spoke of this several times, and it’s one of those truths that aren’t popular these days.
Perhaps Melania is of the same school of thought.
It seems as though she’s going to take her role as First Lady just as seriously as she did her other roles.
She spoke to the spouses of dignitaries from around the world and spoke about the value of the family in instilling values in children.
She said that while she is First Lady, she is going to focus on peace, human rights, and human dignity, especially with regard to children. She did say, however, that it is within the family unit that children are nurtured, taught morals, and develop a love for their country.
Show me the loving bonds between your families today and I will show you the patriotism and moral clarity of your nation tomorrow. Our choices on how we raise and educate our children in fact provide the blueprint for the next generation. If we do not advocate a love of country to our children and generations to come, then why would our children grow up to fight for their countries?”
So, parents — it’s on you.
You need to make sure that you’ve taught your children morality, patriotism, and charity.
