(National Sentinel) Domestic Terrorism: The definition of terrorism is the use of violence and/or intimidation in order to effect political change. But ‘terrorists’ are not just found overseas.

Americans have watched them show up in cities all across our country for the past two years, or roughly the time POTUS Donald Trump has been in office. They wreak havoc on our streets. They beat down anyone who opposes them, politically or otherwise. They attack ‘dissenters.’

And yet, law enforcement on the local and federal levels have done little to stop the Antifa mobs. That’s because everyone keeps pretending that when they show up and commit acts of violence and intimidation they’re merely ‘exercising their First Amendment right’ to “protest.”

No, they’re not. They are covering their faces and beating down people in the streets while destroying public and private property. They are not “protesting.” They have become domestic terrorists, and it’s time to label Antifa as a just such an organization so its members can be dealt with accordingly.

That’s what former NYPD Commissioner Bernard Kerik thinks.

In an exclusive interview with Breitbart News Radio, Kerik said it was time for the government to officially designate Antifa a “domestic terrorist group.”

“In the most minimal definition of terrorism, it’s the unlawful use of violence and intimidation — especially against civilians — in pursuit of political aims. Antifa is a domestic terror group. I strongly believe that the FBI and the Department of Justice should classify them as such,” he said during a discussion of how Left-wing thugs intimidated Fox News host Tucker Carlson’s wife earlier this week by screaming threats and banging on the front door of the couple’s Washington, D.C., home.

“Back in the ’60s, ’70s, and ’80s, we had to deal with the Weather Underground, the Black Panther Party, the Black Liberation Army, the Sam Melville–Jonathan Jackson Unit. There were a number of these anti-American leftist communist socialist groups that were doing exactly what Antifa is doing today, and those groups were doing more, which is what I’m afraid of,” said Kerik.

“I’m afraid this will escalate to much more severe violence. Back then, there were bombings [and] assassinations of police officers. It really got out of hand until the FBI classified these groups as domestic terror groups and started to go after them as such.”

Kerik also said that cities and states should begin passing laws preventing Antifa and other groups from “remaining anonymous” by covering their faces to hide their identities.

“I think the FBI and the Department of Justice should lock them up. Lock them up for violating people’s civil rights. … They are trying to intimidate, harass, and threaten [Tucker Carlson] in an attempt to prevent him from doing his job as a member of the press,” he added.< FBI Director Christopher Wray announced almost a year ago that the bureau had launched an investigation into people “motivated to commit violent activity” who were linked to “Antifa ideology.”
