NO MORE FREE SPEECH!

LASHA DARKMOON : So what’s the latest situation on the London terror attack? Let’s have the basic facts.

JASON DITZ : On Saturday, three attackers carried out a vehicle and knife attack in the High Street area around London Bridge, running over a group of people with a van and then emerging with hunting knives to stab a large number of others, in what officials say was a “low cost, lost tech, low sophistication attack.”

Seven people were killed in the incident and 48 wounded. Police shot and killed all three attackers, and also shot an innocent bystander in the head in the course of their operation. The police also detained 12 others on Sunday in raids in the suburb of Barking, though exactly what for is unknown.

LASHA DARKMOON : Is ISIS to be held responsible for this attack?

JASON DITZ :  ISIS has claimed credit for the attack, as they do with most attacks anywhere in the world, though police have identified one of the attackers, Khalid Masood, as having been born in England, and with no evidence that he had any direct links to ISIS at all. The other two haven’t been identified.

But information on Masood suggests this was an attack by jihad enthusiasts as opposed to an attack orchestrated by ISIS on an organizational level. ISIS and other militant groups of course encourage supporters to carry out attacks like this, but that is far from definitive proof that they were specifically “behind” the attack.

While any terror attack in the High Street area is significant in and of itself, perhaps the most enduring image of the entire ordeal was armed police forcibly marching all the civilians out of the area, with their hands on their heads. Police offered no explanation of why this was done, and so far British media is just reporting it as something that happened, without too many questions as to why.

LASHA DARKMOON : People are telling me this is a false flag attack. That it will give British Prime Minister Theresa May just the pretext she needs to shut down free speech on the internet. What is your view on this?

JASON DITZ :  In the day following the attack, the May government has promised a series of new crackdowns, insisting that further attacks won’t be tolerated. These new crackdowns include efforts to censor “harmful” content on social media, with May blaming social media for giving terrorists “safe spaces.”

LASHA DARKMOON :  I had speculated earlier on that this latest terrorist attack — assuming it is a genuine attack and not a false flag attack as is widely supposed —  might give Theresa May an excuse for postponing the election in three days time. I was wrong. The election will go ahead as planned. However, there has been a dramatic fall in Mrs May’s popularity within the last two weeks. From a 24 point lead over the Labour Party, her lead has now plummeted to a minuscule one point lead yesterday.

JASON DITZ :  While the campaigning for this week’s general election was suspended today because of the attack, May has insisted that the vote will go on as scheduled. She appears to be betting that her promised crackdowns [on free speech]  will bolster her polling numbers, which have been weakening since mid-May.

LASHA  DARKMOON :  My fear is that my website will be shut down soon and no longer available to people in Britain. This will apply doubly to all politically dissident websites registered in the UK and run by UK citizens.

JASON DITZ : British Prime Minister Theresa May wasted no time after yesterday’s London Bridge terror attack in announcing that she will be pushing a new series of international agreements aimed at global regulation of speech on the Internet, claiming that extremists have been using “safe spaces online” in their terror attacks.

While this is being couched today as a reaction to the London attack, the reality is that this is a long-standing goal of Britain’s Tory government, with the Conservative Party’s current manifesto vowing efforts to force Internet providers to participate in “counter-extremism” efforts that would tightly regulate speech.

LASHA DARKMOON :  I fear the worst. Take my website. I am not engaged in terrorist activities of any kind. I’ve never asked the Google search engine: “How can I build a bomb?” I don’t like the government one little bit, no matter which party is in power, but there’s absolutely no way I intend to do a Guy Fawkes and try to blow up the Houses of Parliament! In other words, I’m a model citizen. So, is my website going to be shut down or severely discriminated against just because a politically correct British Prime Minister — who is in the pocket of the Jews — believes that subservience to Israel is compulsory?

SARDONICUS (commenting on the Darkmoon site) :  I think many of the Brits who voted for Brexit are pissed off with Theresa for taking far too long to start the ball rolling. She is now perceived as weak and dithery. Hardly a match for Maggie Thatcher. If the Iron Lady had said “Brexit means Brexit”, we would have got somewhere by now!

FRANKLIN RYCKAERT :  Indeed. Keep also in mind that Corbyn is hated by the Jewish establishment for his solidarity with the Palestinians. He is generally seen as an “anti-Semite”. The Jewish establishment would never stage a false flag to help him into power. The first thing Theresa May did after being nominated Prime Minister was having a dinner with the Chief Rabbi of Britain. She is their puppet.

LASHA DARKMOON :  With three commenters like this on my website — Jimbo, Sardonicus, Ryckaert — all unabashed anti-Zionists and Holocaust revisionists to boot — what hope would there be for free speech on my website if Theresa May and her philosemitic foot soldiers had their way? Are Jimbo, Sardonicus and Franklin Ryckaert to be tracked down by the British cheka and incarcerated in some gulag? Am I myself to be declared persona non grata and persecuted and punished by the Friends of Israel for daring to speak my mind? My contempt and loathing for war criminals like Tony Blair, who has yet to be punished for his heinous war crimes, is total. JASON DITZ : The [Prime Minister’s] manifesto’s plan goes well beyond just terrorism, looking to regulate speech broadly defined by the ruling party as “harmful,” and also to severely curtail the access of pornographic materials on the Internet. The pornography angle is, obviously, not being mentioned in connection to the London attack.

London-based privacy and free speech advocacy group the Open Rights Group was quick to criticize May’s effort, and Professor Peter Neumann, the director for the Centre for the Study of Radicalization at King’s College London, mocked the effort as “politically convenient but intellectually lazy.”

LASHA DARKKMOON : I’m not suggesting that Professor Neumann is Jewish, though his name sounds Jewish to me. All I’m suggesting is that if he IS Jewish, I can understand his anger  at the idea that there could be a crackdown on pornography, especially on pornography aimed at children.

We all know from long experience that Jews play a dominant role in the porn industry. They are the foremost advocates of “free speech” when it comes to pornography. They’d rather die at the stake than ban a dirty book or censor a filthy movie. So let me state what is blindingly obvious to anyone who thinks for himself. As long our Jewish masters call the shots, there is absolutely no chance of a serious crackdown on pornography.

The state does everything it can to corrupt our youth by compulsory sex education classes designed to create a nation of sex-crazed loonies. “An orgasm a day keeps the doctor away” is one of the slogans it offers schoolchildren in order to turn them into little wankers. So here’s the bottom line. Holocaust denial will be punished. Criticism of Israel will be made a crime. But not pornography. This is the very last thing our rulers would think of banning, since pornography is used as a secret weapon against the masses, as an instrument of mass demoralization.

BERTRAND RUSSELL : The social psychologists of the future will have a number of classes of school children on whom they will try different methods of producing an unshakable conviction that snow is black. When the technique has been perfected, every government that has been in charge of education for a generation will be able to control its subjects securely without the need of armies or policemen.

The first was when Churchill refused to deal with Hitler, and bankrupted the empire to bomb Germany into ruins, and hand over power to America. The second was when Thatcher handed over the country to Jewish financial interests, who have proceed to enslave the people in debt. Everybody in that island is simply playing out an endgame of one sort or another.

FLAN O’BRIEN (commenting on the Darkmoon site) : I think of the UK as a Tavistock cattle control experiment. Once perfected the methods are applied in other countries. In this sense the UK is in the vanguard of “progress”!

The whole of the UK internet will become like Youtube and Facebook where only selfie photos and recipes may be discussed.
