Bush at Northern Command Headquarters

orthern Command." But, wait. Colorado Springs is where the military has its Space War headquarters complex. It is also where the U.S. Government's secret plans provide for the government to function from if the Eastern United States becomes an inhospitable environment. Why is President Bush headed there to await Hurricane Rita? Normally a President either visits the stricken area to encourage its citizens, or remains at the White House to coordinate overall Federal rescue and relief operations from his headquarters. Surely the White House Situation Room has state-of-the-art communications and weather information. And no weather forecast has Rita getting anywhere near Washington, DC with anything like hurricanic force. And so there is no need for Mr. Bush to go to the headquarters of the U.S. Space [War] Command in Colorado in order to get accurate storm reports. The White House Situation Room gets real-time weather information from its DoD Milstar surveillance satellites. It looks like somethng else is on Mr. Bush's agenda in Colorado Springs this weekend."

Today Saturday comes further clarification of Mr. Bush's agenda from the Washington Post.* It seems that Bush, as Commander-in-Chief is at the Northern Command Headquarters of the U.S. Military's homeland security command, is watching as Operation Granite Shadow (ABOVE TOP SECRET, SENSITIVE COMPARTMENTED INFORMATION) takes place. Granite Shadow is a highly-classified operation wherein the U.S. Military takes over the United States without regard to Constitutional or statutory limits to bring "law und order" during an extreme national emergency, such as the detonation of a nuclear weapon in a metropolitan area, (or the launch of Cabal psy-warfare operations featuring a fake invasion by "space alien craft"?). Apparently the theoretical exercise today is viewed as more important, and not to be postponed, than the President's being at the White House during the Hurricane Rita Emergency.

One wonders about the importance of a theoretical exercise that could take place anytime that just somehow cannot be postponed, so that the President can give his undivided attention to the survivors and evacuees of Hurricane Rita. It is also of interest that the designated location for overseeing martial law in the United States is one-and-the-same as the designated location for the U.S. to conduct all-out warfare in space: the Colorado Springs region Military Complex of: Cheyenne Mountain Air Force Operations Center, Fort Carson (home of the 10th Special Forces Airborne), Peterson Air Force Base (HQ for "space control of the world"), Buckley Air Force Base (home of three Space Warning Squadrons), and Shriever Air Force Base (home of seven Space Operations Squadrons and the Space BattleLab). It must be a great comfort to the terrified survivors and evacuees of the stricken Gulf Coast to know that their President is instead focusing his attention this weekend on honing America's readiness for incoming terrorists from overseas or from space (sic). - Richard Boylan, Ph.D.
