'Osama On Deathbed'
WASHINGTON: Two officials of the US intelligence agency CIA have claimed that al-Qaida chief Osama bin Laden was on his deathbed as he is suffering from a terminal kidney disease, and may live only for a few months. The intelligence agency also managed to get the names of some of the medications Bin Laden was taking. ( Watch )
One of the two CIA officials familiar with the report that came out six to nine months ago quoted it as saying, "Based on his current pharmaceutical intake we would expect that he has no more than 6-18 months to live and impending kidney failure." Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf was the first person to claim that Laden suffered from kidney disease and was on dialysis.
"It's trying to make a diagnosis from thousands of miles away with only fragments of the medical chart," the Time magazine quoted Paul Pillar, the former top analyst and deputy director of the CIA's counter-terrorism centre, as saying.

Meanwhile, a source told Washington Times that US has an agreement with Musharraf to launch direct attacks targeting elusive bin Laden in Pakistani territory without prior permission from Islamabad, a media report said.
CIA-operated Predator drones may strike Laden's hide-out without taking permission beforehand from Islamabad if the US locates him in Pakistan's rugged tribal areas, a source close to the arrangement told the Washington Times. The right to launch attacks to US was granted by Musharraf when the Pakistan had joined the war against terrorism, the source said. The US has options for sending special operations teams into Pakistan if Laden's exact location is determined, but military officials said it would be the Predator, not boots on the ground, that would be dispatched to kill the al-Qaida leader. This is because a Predator drone could be airborne — or redirected in flight — in a matter of minutes. [NOTE: Osama bin Laden died in December, 2001 from kidney failure, but this has been kept a secret deliberately by the U.S. Government to keep their lies about 9/11 and the war on terror going indefinitely.
For a time the bin Laden family occupied one whole floor of the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnestoa, while Osama was being treated for kidney problems. Osama was a CIA operative, trained by the CIA to head the Talaban in Afghanistan for the purpose of defeating the Russian troops in Afghanistan during the 1980's.
The U.S. Government wanted control of Afghanistan to control the Caspean Sea oil, the pipeline being built across Afghanistan. In fact, that is the reason U.S. troops are in Afghanistan at the present time. It is interesting that the Bush and bin Laden families have been working together with oil deals for many years and are the best of friends. --- PHB ]
