Trump has been moving troops out of the middle east in an attempt to stop endless wars. This is the first step to a full pull out of the region. The media, who used to hate war but now loves it is crucifying the President over his decision to get us out of the Middle East.

President Trump has also given his administration broad authority to issue sanctions on Turkey should they continue to escalate military action in the region.

Here are 5 facts about what's really going on in Syria:

1.) Fulfilling a Promise

The media is having a meltdown and calling this unprecedented, many RINOs in congress are also calling Trump a traitor and they are claiming that he is going back on his promises. The thing that the media and these RINOs get wrong is that Trump promised in his campaign that he was going to get America out of the Middle East.

The critics of Trump's move are claiming that this will show that the US is a weak ally. But does any of this benefit the US? The US has a proven track record on the issue of being a good ally in a war but is fighting the same war for 20 years really in the interest of the US? Is sending young men to die and wasting billions of taxpayer dollars really what the US should be doing to support its allies?

3.) Pentagon Opposition

The Pentagon is in constant opposition to the President on matters of foreign wars and many can’t seem to figure out why. Remember that the Pentagon is another part of the bureaucracy full of holdovers from the previous administration, the last two presidents aren’t the biggest fans of Trump.

4.) ISIS

ISIS was pushed back to the edge once Trump got into office and began a new offensive against them but the reality is that ISIS can never be fully defeated. ISIS is a loosely connected group of terror cells that feeds off of propaganda in the region, they can never fully be defeated only crippled beyond repair. There will always be another radicalized individual ready to do awful things, there is no way to fix this.

5.) Turkey’s Comeback

The Nation of Turkey is no real ally of the United States but the issues in the Middle East are closer to them than the US.

Many believe should step up and deal with the issue as opposed to the United States which is an ocean away.

Also do not forget that Turkey is a signatory and treaty ally of the United States through NATO.
