Great work!

Thanks to the activism of supporters like you, Constitutional Carry House Bill 1072 passed the South Dakota State Senate by 23 to 11.

Your diligent efforts contacting your legislators were pivotal in getting Constitutional Carry this far, and it passed with overwhelming support from across the state.

If signed into law, law-abiding gun owners in South Dakota would no longer need to beg for government permission in order to lawfully carry a concealed firearm for self-defense.

The bad news is anti-gun Governor Daugaard is openly stating that he will veto Constitutional Carry.

But this comes at no surprise.

Governor Daugaard has a history of vetoing even WEAK pro-gun reforms.

In 2012 Governor Daugaard vetoed a weak and compromised Constitutional Carry bill because according to him the bill was still too pro-gun.

Our anti-gun enemies, backed by South Dakota Sheriffs Against Guns are doing everything they can to give the Governor cover while he vetoes this pro-gun bill.

That's why I hope you'll take action one more time.

Please contact Governor Daugaard at (605) 773-3212 and tell him you expect him to reverse course and sign HB 1072 into law.

Patrick, can I count on you to take action one more time to help make Constitutional Carry a reality in South Dakota?

Tell Governor Daugaard that you expect him to sign this monumental pro-gun legislation when it comes to his desk.

Once you’re done calling Governor Dennis Daugaard, I hope I can count on you to make a most generous contribution of $50, $30, or $15 to help us bring more gun rights activists into the fight.

P.S. After passing both chambers of the South Dakota Legislature with support from across the state, Constitutional Carry awaits signing by Governor Daugaard.

Unfortunately, Governor Daugaard is openly stating he will veto Constitutional Carry.

Please contact Governor Daugaard at (605) 773-3212 and tell him you expect him to reverse course and sign HB 1072 into law.

Once you’re done calling Governor Dennis Daugaard, I hope I can count on you to make a most generous contribution of $50, $30, or $15 to help us bring more gun rights activists into the fight.
