Trump has all but confirmed his intention to launch a third presidential campaign but has given little indication who he could choose to be his future running mate. After the 2020 election it’s highly unlikely Trump would chose his former VP Mike Pence to campaign alongside him. These are the odds-on favorites to create the ultimate winning ticket in 2024, who do you think would be the best Vice President?

Trump’s former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has hinted at launching a presidential campaign if Trump doesn’t run for president in 2024. According to a straw poll conducted at CPAC, Pompeo was one of the top contenders to get support if he launches a presidential campaign. It would only make sense that Trump considers selecting Pompeo as his running mate after working closely together for years.

Kristi Noem

Could South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem become the second female Vice President? Possibly. Noem is another top contender from the Conservative Political Action Conference’s straw poll. Over the past year, Noem has become increasingly popular amongst Republicans over her response to Covid-19. It would only make sense that Trump considers Noem as a possible running mate in 2024.

Candace Owens

Could Trump consider Conservative firebrand Candace Owens as a possible choice for Vice President? In the past, Owens has made comments should see herself running for public office in the future. Recently, during an interview with former President Trump the two Republicans joked about forming a Trump-Owens 2024 ticket. Trump said in response to Owens being a possible VP candidate, “What a good choice that would be. That would be fantastic. You would be fantastic.”

Trump-Trump 2024 has a great ring to it, don’t you think? Based on the 2021 CPAC straw poll the former president’s son is already a favorite amongst Republicans with many saying they would vote for Trump Jr. for president if his father decides not to run. However, perhaps two Republican powerhouses could run as a team!

Missouri Senator Josh Hawley could be a possible contender to become Trump’s future Vice President.

Trump also just endorsed Hawley’s new book, “Josh Hawley, our fantastic Senator from the beautiful and great State of Missouri, has a fantastic new book, just out this week, about the terrible Big Tech companies and their attempt to ruin our Country. It’s called The Tyranny of Big Tech—it has my Full and Complete Endorsement. Buy it now!”

Once rivals on the debate stage turned running mates? Crazier things have happened. Ted Cruz ran against Trump in 2016 but ultimately became an ally for Trump in the Senate throughout this presidency. The Texas Senator is popular amongst Republicans and his loyalty to Trump makes him an obvious choice to be considered as his future running mate.
