Hours After Senate Impeachment Trial Starts – New National Poll Shows The Majority Of Americans Want Trump Acquitted

The Senate impeachment trial started today. But it looks like a big horse and pony show.
The House rushed their inquiry, forcing a vote along party lines (with three Democrats against it). They did such a bad job building their case, they are now begging for more witnesses and time.
Sure, you threw the country into chaos with impeachment and now you want more time to do it? I don’t think so.
Republicans in the Senate have been vocal about ending this quickly. Some wanted to dismiss right away. Others are willing to let Trump defend himself.
All agree that this impeachment is a Constitutional disgrace.
But what do Americans think? A new poll (from a left-wing source) is not giving the left the answer they wanted.

A Gallup poll shows the Republican Party firmly behind President Donald Trump as he faces impeachment, with 93 percent opposed to a Senate impeachment conviction and removal, and 51 percent of Americans overall agree…
“Forty-six percent of Americans say they would like their senators to vote to convict Trump and remove him from office, while 51 percent want their senators to vote against conviction so Trump will remain as president.”
Wow. Gallup reveals that 51% of the country want Trump acquitted.
You have to factor in the liberal bias of most polls. Yet even with liberal media outlets running these polls, we see most Americans are against Trump’s removal from office.
Hmm… I wonder why?
Well, Democrats made a very bad case for Trump’s impeachment. Yes, they tried very hard to get their Russian hoax to stick. That failed, so they tried to convince us that Trump broke the law during a simple phone call.
Not many Americans were convinced. We were then shocked to see how House Democrats conducted their “investigation”: behind closed doors, denying requests from Republicans.
Why would we go along with that kind of scheme?
Not only that, but Donald Trump is doing what few presidents have ever done: make good on his promises.
Even Democrat voters are prospering under Trump’s America. The stock market is breaking records. Jobs are flooding the country. And we are safer than ever before.
Why would anyone with a brain want to end that?
