President Trump broke a Twitter record for the most liked Persian tweet when he tweeted a message of solidarity to the Iranian people protesting the regime.

The mainstream media, predictably, was silent about it.

According to Town Hall:

This tweet by @realDonaldTrump with more than 100k likes is already the most liked Persian tweet in the history of Twitter. A strong show of support by Iranians for Trump's Iran policy, something the MSM does not and will not report. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1216114167108849665

President Trump broke a record for the “most liked Persian tweet” in Twitter history when he issued a message of solidarity with the Iranian people protesting Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, according to a think tank adviser.

Protests erupted in Iran over the weekend after the regime admitted it shot down a commercial airplane, killing all 176 on board, after lying about what really happened for days. The regime initially claimed the crash likely resulted from mechanical problems, then said they would not give up the black box and were even caught bulldozing evidence.

“To the brave and suffering Iranian people: I have stood with you since the beginning of my presidency and my government will continue to stand with you,” Trump tweeted in Farsi. “We are following your protests closely. Your courage is inspiring.”

Predictably, Iranian foreign ministry spokesman Abbas Mousavi did not appreciate the message, responding: “Hands and tongues smeared with threatening, sanctioning and terrorizing the Iranian nation, are not entitled to dishonor the ancient Persian language.”

President Trump urged the Iranian regime not to kill protesters, something they have done in the past.
