One Question Sent Nancy Pelosi Running For Cover

Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats are staring down the barrel of a massive crisis.

It’s one that threatens to upend the party and set them on course for defeat in 2020.

And this one question sent Pelosi and her allies running for cover.

Americans were appalled at the brewing scandal in Virginia.

Delegate Kathy Tran introduced legislation allowing for abortionists to kill babies –after they are born.

Governor Ralph Northam defended this barbaric legislation by coldly detailing how an abortionist would snuff out the life of an infant that was born alive.

“”If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired,” Northam chillingly explained.

Americans could not believe it.

For years, Democrats hid their support for abortion on demand up until the moment of birth by claiming the ghoulish procedure should be “safe, legal and rare.”

That lie is no more.

Now Democrats are responding to the increasing radicalism of their base by championing abortion even after the moment of birth.

Aborting babies because they were born with birth defects is something out of 1930s Germany.

Americans will not stand for culling the population based on their genetics.

Democrats sensed their base was dragging them to a dangerous place.

Led by Nancy Pelosi, every elected Democrat questioned about Northam’s support for infanticide claimed they had not heard what Northam said.

Reporters pressed Speaker Pelosi on if Northam’s comments damaged the Democrats politically.

“I’m sorry, I just don’t know what he said yesterday,” Pelosi answered.

The Daily Caller’s Henry Rogers reported, “I just spoke with over 10 Democratic Senators in the past 2 hours. Not one of them would acknowledge @GovernorVA‘s comments on late-term abortion. Every one of them denied ever hearing them.”

Northam is the Governor of a state whose capital resides a little more than an hour outside of D.C.

The Virginia Governor’s comments were not only local news, they exploded virally across social media and dominated the political news cycle until a photo from Northam’s medical school yearbook surfaced showing one man dressed in blackface and another wearing Ku Klux Klan robes.

Democrats escaped the “flood the zone” type coverage Republicans get when some obscure city council member spreads an offensive Facebook meme about Barack Obama because the media agrees with the Democrats’ position that abortionists can kill children born alive outside the womb.

Reporters checked a box by asking the Democrats a cursory question and then quickly moved on.

It was also telling that the media was more up in arms about a racist photo from 35 years ago – even though Northam’s opponents and defenders all admitted there was no pattern of racist behavior in his life – than a licensed medical doctor advocating terminating the lives of babies born alive in clear violation of the Hippocratic oath to do no harm to patients.

This type of ideological collusion is how the media buries bad stories for Democrats.

Since the media finds killing live babies completely normal, they do not understand why anyone supporting this practice would be advocating for anything controversial.

The media’s bias isn’t just what they cover and what they don’t cover.

It shines through in the level of intensity of the coverage.

And in this case, journalists were happy to accept the fact that no elected official knew anything about the biggest story in American politics because it was inconvenient for the media’s preferred political agenda.
