Special Counsel Robert Mueller is still building a case against President Trump.

And the Deep State coup that has been two years in the making has yet to be completed.

But as Mueller enters the end game, one Harvard law professor has just two words to say about his investigation.

Mueller’s investigation has taken down several of President Trump’s campaign aides and former employees, including his former lawyer Michael Cohen, and National Security Adviser Michael Flynn.

However, this Harvard law professor thinks Mueller will never get his hands on President Trump himself.

Breitbart reports:

“Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz reacted to President Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani saying the president would not sit down for an interview with FBI special counsel Robert Mueller.”

Dershowitz said Mueller’s investigation of Trump “is over” unless the Special Counsel stunned the nation by issuing a subpoena against a sitting President.

“I think the cards that were shown yesterday were that this investigation as far as Trump’s concerned is over unless they try to subpoena him and then we have a constitutional conflict because Trump asserts article 2 and other constitutional rights,” Dershowitz added.

If Mueller tried to go after Trump with a subpoena, it would almost certainly trigger a constitutional crisis, unlike anything America has seen in decades.

Dershowitz believes that Mueller’s investigation is rapidly coming to an end and that his final report will be out soon.

He thinks Mueller will find several “political sins” tied to individuals who worked for President Trump in 2016, but that there will not be enough evidence to accuse the President of any crimes.

What’s more, prosecutors like Mueller are supposed to only look for instances where the law was broken. Politics are supposed to play no role in the investigation or its findings.

However, Mueller’s probe has proven repeatedly that it has deep political biases directed against the President and his administration.

Mueller’s team was forced to fire Peter Strzok, an anti-Trump FBI agent who sent multiple text messages calling President Trump an “idiot”.

Mueller’s team also scrubbed Strzok’s phone before handing it over to the Office of the Inspector General.

What’s more, Mueller’s top cheerleaders outside of the FBI are almost entirely confined to left-leaning news outlets such as CNN and MSNBC, as well as Democratic party officials in Congress.

Dershowitz does not think there’s anything there to indict the President, and Mueller’s team likely doesn’t even have the authority to issue a subpoena against Trump either.

That would mean that once Mueller is finished with his investigation, Americans may just wake up to learn the past two years of “Russian collusion” stories perpetrated by the mainstream media and the Democratic Party were all a lie.

Of course, there’s no telling what Mueller will do.

He has kept his cards close to his chest, despite sending signals that he is aiming to go after the President, as the plea bargains with Michael Cohen and Michael Flynn demonstrate.

It’s still not clear when Mueller will finish his work, or what conclusion he will draw.

But Dershowitz makes a strong case that in the end, Mueller will bring nothing but disappointment for the Deep State and the Democratic Party.
