ShareSan Francisco’s 9th Circuit Court of Appeals has made a dramatic swing in recent months—thanks to Donald Trump.

He has appointed a record number of conservative judges to the bench. The effect has been the court is now considered “flipped.”

It’s even recently given his administration key victories on crucial issues.

But it looks like the court is not done with blocking Trump yet.

From Fox News:

A federal appeals court on Friday slapped a temporary halt on the Remain-in-Mexico policy — one of the most effective Trump administration policies in halting last year’s migrant crisis — dealing a significant blow to the administration’s efforts to control the flow of migrants claiming asylum at the southern border.

In a frustrating upset to the Trump administration, the 9th Circuit Court temporarily blocked the “Remain-in-Mexico” policy.

This policy requires border jumpers to stay in Mexico while our immigration courts decide their cases.

It essentially ended Obama’s “catch-and-release” strategy that rewarded those who crossed over the border.

With this ruling, it prevents our border security from effectively doing its job. It’s no secret people seek to jump the border, knowing they can stick around if they claim asylum.

The government was forced to release these people into the country. Often, we never heard from them again.

Remain in Mexico prevented all that. But the San Francisco court thought it was better to jeopardize the safety of Americans.

But Trump isn’t beaten yet. There are a number of ways the president can continue to secure our border.

That includes taking the case all the way to the Supreme Court—who just might side with Trump.
