No matter how we cut the cake on this election, it's a train wreck. The election of two conservative heroes lifetimes is here and right when the winners, both Republicans, announced more ballots come trickling in.

This isn’t making anyone happy unless you’re a partisan Democrat.

Don’t think this isn't the first time Broward County Election Official Brenda Snipes has been at the center of an election controversy: here are seven jaw-dropping examples of the trouble she's caused:

1.) Destroyed Ballots Really Early

In 2016, Brenda Snipes destroyed ballots far too early and violated federal election law in the process.

The Federal Election Commission requires that ballots be kept for 22 months, but Snipes blatantly disregarded this requirement – destroying the hundreds of thousands of ballots in her office's possession after a mere 12 months.

2.) Posted the Election Results…Before Polls Closed?

Brenda quite infamously posted the results of the 2016 election before the polls even closed. This not only contradicts standard operation procedures – it defies common sense.

Many assumed the worse, that she actively wanted to influence turnout in heavily Democratic Broward County.

\3.) Missing Choices?

A significant number of ballots in 2016 were missing entire choices.

The medical marijuana amendment in Florida was left off the ballot altogether, in a devastating blow to those in support of the measure and infuriating to activists that worked to get it on the ballot in the first place.

Imagine losing an election because your name was off the list thanks to a clerical error.

4.) Discovering Ballots

In the 2012 presidential election, Ms. Snipes just so happened to find another crate of ballots that had not been counted a week after the election.

This is incompetent at best, or downright fraudulent at worst.

Which do you think? Keep in mind, Barack Obama beat Mitt Romney in Florida by nine-tenths of a percentage point.

5.) Undelivered Ballots?

Roughly 58,000 ballots were not mailed to voters who had opted to vote-by-mail. This absentee voting scandal is disgusting, especially when you consider less than 58,000 voters separate Republicans Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis from their liberal counterparts.

6.) Failed to Give Regular Updates

In more recent news, Snipes has failed to give regular updates since Election Day 2018 as specified by the law. Worse still, 66 of Florida's 67 counties had completed their vote tallies on election night.

And Broward isn't the most populous – Miami-Dade has one million more people!

Snipes is required to update the government every 45 minutes on the process and vote counts, it is astonishing that she has failed a task as menial as this.

7.) Failure to Disclose Ballot Info

Despite the election ending one week ago, Ms. Snipes has failed to disclose how many ballots are left to be counted.

Whether that's because the sheer number outstanding or something more sinister can only be left to conjecture.

The bottom line is this: what is happening in Broward County under Ms. Snipes is an absolute disgrace. And it's not the first time! Voting irregularities were reported under her leadership in the following elections – 2002, 2004, 2006, 2012, 2016, and, of course, this year.

Most people are furious and rightfully so.
