The Democrats 2020 field is growing every day.
Virtually every prominent Democrat is looking to take on Trump.
But Trump just said two words destroying his top challenger’s life.
Of all the candidates gunning for the Democrat nomination in 2020, Bernie Sanders is garnering the most excitement.
Next to President Trump, there was nobody with a more energized base in 2016 than Bernie.
His socialist message is one that many young voters see as the future.
They are so brainwashed to hate capitalism that they are jumping at the opportunity to elect Bernie, especially since the Democrats stole the 2016 nomination from him.
Emails leaked by Wikileaks show that the Democrat National Committee was working behind the scenes to harm his campaign.
So Bernie already has a strong base of support, making him perhaps the most formidable challenger against Trump.
On his first day on the campaign trail, he was able to raise over $6 million, proving there is still excitement for his campaign.
But long before his campaign launch, President Trump had been mocking Bernie relentlessly.
“Bernie Sanders, Crazy Bernie,” Trump said. “It’s amazing that he wasn’t more angry that the election was stolen from him. I don’t get it.”
Trump continued, “You know he’s always like complaining, complaining, he’s jumping around, his hairs going crazy, he’s jumping around like a lunatic. But he never complained about the fact that crooked Hillary cheated him out of the election.”
That statement shows exactly how Trump will take Bernie down if he gets the nomination.
Along with attacking his socialist views, Trump will almost certainly present him as weak over his acceptance for the way Hillary treated him.
Even after having the election stolen from him, Bernie chose to endorse Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Additionally, Bernie will have a hard time courting more moderate Democrat voters.
While his message is popular on college campuses and in far-left strongholds, his socialist message is unlikely to attract mainstream Democrats.
But if he is able to win, it will prove that America is beginning to digest his socialist message.
His victory will give newly-elected socialists like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez hope to implement radical policies.
