American Demonocracy was established on, or around 1865, which then morphed into full blow communism over the next 60 years, with all 10 planks havning been fully instituted by 1935. If we take Adams remark as a standard for his day, and before, still not knowing how long, 'not very long is', and apply it towards America, we see that Demonocracy has been doing quite well, and in fact thriving in this country for the last 149 years; hardly a 'not very long', span of time. ----RR
