The 14th Amendment gave the corporate UNITED STATES the right to own slaves, but the method of changing Americans to 'slave status' was by the (corporate) 13th Amendment.

That says: "Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction."
So, how does that make Americans into 'plantation slaves'? How or when did they become 'convicted of a crime'?
The answer lies in the fact that the UNITED STATES is a corporate body, and all corporate bodies are a 'make-believe ship at sea'.
Thus, any activity dealing with a corporate body falls within 'maritime jurisdiction'. The jurisdiction is frequently called 'admiralty jurisdiction', but that really only applies to maritime law applied to a military corporate body or an actual military ship at sea.
When a child is born, the parents, using their slave name, offer up (register the live birth) with the State, which is a sub-corporate body belonging to the corporate UNITED STATES. Within that registration is a 'given name and a stated family name. The State authorities then convert the family name into a sur, or primary name, which the child is taught to be his or her name. The State then creates a projected monetary value instrument, called a birth certificate to offer as chattel in bankruptcy to the creditor of the original bankruptcy of the original States, which is the Vatican.
However, within maritime (international) law is the provision that the captain of a vessel is supreme commander of that vessel whilst at sea. Thus, when an owned physical human child, the property of the State, becomes of the age of majority, the free will mind becomes the sovereign captain of the physical vessel, the human body wherein is the human sovereign mind.
So, to reduce that man (mind and body) to slave status, the man must either volunteer to be of slave status (as joining the military) or be considered to have committed a crime and be convicted. It is the latter that enslaves Americans primarily. In maritime law, a 'crewmember' (citizen) , when accused of disobedience, is guilty unless proven innocent. So, what is the crime? It is the unauthorized use of the State owned name as found on the birth certificate. The legal name becomes the 'tow rope' that one's 'vessel/body' comes under tow of the ship called the State and thus the super-corporation called the UNITED STATES, as per the 14th Amendment. The all caps spelling is just a code signifying that the slave is pledged as chattel in the bankruptcy reparations to the Vatican.
