U.S. media propaganda dehumanizing and demonizing Arabs and Muslims, including over 300 Hollywood films that have unrelentingly cast Arabs as fools or villains, culminating most recently in a hysterical, virulently racist, Islamophobic DVD distributed in Sunday advertising supplements to 28 million households to influence voters toward warmongering candidates.

Pain and suffering caused by Muslims???  I think a history lesson is in order about who has inflicted the greatest suffering upon whom, and I don’t mean the crusades.  Only the most gullible and historically naive buy the fiction that Islamic anger is about “our way of life” or “different belief systems.”

More realistically, perhaps it’s because we have twice attacked Iraq which never did us harm, causing several hundred thousand (probably over a million) Muslim deaths and over 4 million displaced Muslims, bookending 12 years of sanctions imposed upon their helpless population which, it is believed, caused about a million deaths, half of them children.  In our two attacks on Iraq, the US military used over 2,500 tons of depleted uranium, an illegal weapon prohibited since 1996 by the UN Human Rights Commission that has resulted in vastly increased rates of cancer, immunodeficiencies, and hideous birth deformities, a gift that keeps on giving with a half-life of over 4 billion years, representing what history will probably record as mankind’s most terrible war crime.

Or perhaps it’s because we used 9/11 as an excuse to unjustifiably attack two entire Muslim nations.  We were not attacked by a nation state, and no military response was justified under international law.  The Taliban quite reasonably offered to extradite bin Laden to a neutral country for trial but the US refused and attacked them, dumping 1,000 tons of depleted uranium on them in the process.

Or perhaps it’s because we deposed the democratically elected leader of Iran in 1953 and installed a brutal dictator there for 25 years, then supported Saddam (who was installed by the CIA since US companies prefer doing business with dictators than democracies) in attacking Iran after they overthrew the Shah, while covertly arming both sides in a genocidal war killing over a million Muslims.

Or perhaps it’s our uncritical support of Israel’s 60-year theft of Palestinian lands, Israel’s destruction of over 18,000 Palestinian homes and over a million fruit and olive trees in illegally occupied Palestine, Israel’s brutal oppression and vastly asymmetrical violence against Palestinians using American weaponry, and our 41 UN vetoes blocking sanctions against Israel for their multiple, relentless violations of international law.  The US, Israel and the tag-along UK are the true axis of evil, the only countries that attack and occupy other people and flagrantly ignore international law.   Saddam acted only with our encouragement and implied approval (he thought).  Iran hasn’t invaded anybody in 250 years and is now motivated only to protect itself against Israel and Israeli influence on the US.

The rest of the world, with an unfettered press, knows this.  Only Americans remain in ignorance thanks to a duplicitous, corporate-controlled mass media.
