House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is considering support for an illegal plan written by Congresswoman Louise Slaughter (D-NY), to pass the Senate "health" care bill without an actual vote in the House, according to Republican House Leader John Boehner (R-OH).   On his blog, Boehner exposed the Democrats new "Slaughter Solution" to bypass existing procedural voting rules, stating, "You see, Democratic leaders currently lack the votes needed to pass the Senate health care bill through the House.  Under Slaughter’s scheme, Democratic leaders will overcome this problem by simply 'deeming' the Senate bill passed in the House - without an actual vote by members of the House. » read more

Riding on the Rollercoaster of Cosmic Change

March 16, 2010 2:30 PM

Dog Poet Transmitting…….   You can see it coming. Even where I am, where you can’t see much of anything except for people doing the same things they’ve been doing for generations, you can sense it coming, if you’re sensitive (grin). Actually that’s a good point because sensitivity is an endangered state and might well go the way of manners and taste, which departed some years ago but weren’t missed except by the people still committed to having them as a feature in their lives. March 16, 2010 2:28 PM

In every era, in every tribe in every culture, indeed in most individuals there has been, and is, a subtle sense of the numinous. In an attempt to understand this subtle sense, men and women have dedicated their lives in some circumstances to attain union with this mental sensation which stimulates a sense of yearning, of a communion, and of a return to a wondrous unknown. But the subtlety escapes some, and in their haste to scoff at the unknown, they in their arrogance of ignorance refute such a sense of the numinous and brazenly declare that we are but an accident of nature, and hedonism is the only style to follow. These are the ones who believe they should do to others before others do to them. The rest, in respect of their sense of a superior intellect, try in trying circumstances to live by the Golden Rule, of treating others as they would like to be treated. » read more

Who’s to blame for the Iraq war?

March 16, 2010 2:26 PM

A not-so-trivial quiz Maidhc Ó Cathail names and shames the top 20 politicians, academics and policy makers – all con men and all Zionist Jews – who lied and conspired to steer the US towwards aggression against the Iraqi people. This month marks the seventh anniversary of the invasion of Iraq. Despite the passage of time, there is still much confusion, some of it deliberate, about why America made that fateful decision. The following questions are intended to clarify who’s to blame for the Iraq war. 1. » read more

It’s time: Declare lies for war with Iran as treason against our soldiers and US Constitution (with video)

March 16, 2010 2:21 PM

Five thousand dead American soldiers in wars all based in known lies. Thirty thousand admitted American soldiers wounded and injured with over 100,000 disability claims granted.    Over one million dead Iraqi and Afghan citizens and God knows how many wounded and suffering.   $3 to $5 trillion in long-term costs to American taxpayers. That’s $30,000 to $50,000 per US household of $50,000 annual income. » read more
