3-23-22 At age 18, Emma Weyant represented the United States in the Olympics and brought home a silver medal! Back in the States, however, her victory was stolen by a biological male, William “Lia” Thomas. This is outrageous and unfair. Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) just stated, “By allowing men to compete in women’s sports, the NCAA is destroying opportunities for women, making a mockery of its championships, and perpetuating a fraud.” Many people who dare complain about men competing in women’s sports are silenced.

Tate Reeves signed Mississippi State Senate Bill (SB) 2536 into law, making Mississippi the first state in the nation to protect girls' sports. Mississippi and many other states are now taking matters into their own hands as the federal government, under the Biden Administration, seeks to impose dangerous policies around sex and gender on the nation's schools and youth.

http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/entertainment/sports/news.php?q=1615135258
3-6-21 The Associated Press (AP) is taking aim at legislators who are trying to protect women’s sports against the transgender invasion, claiming none of them have provided any evidence that any females are being harmed by the LGBTQ policy. Some 20 states have introduced bills so far this year to ban transgender “girls” – meaning biological males pretending to be “females” – from competing in female sports. According to the AP, allowing men with gender dysphoria, a mental illness, to compete with women is never a problem except among “transphobes.” Track athlete Selina Soule, along with many others, would disagree. Even so, the AP wants to pretend as though none of these hard-working female athletes exist, and instead give preference to the Cult of LGBTQ at their expense.

Our beautiful Canadian weather is the perfect combination for winter and summer activities, and right now, our national speed skaters are calling natural outdoor rinks their practice grounds. © Provided by The Weather Network Ghost Lake, Alta. The new sports tyranny: Any athlete who openly supports Trump gets canceled because that’s “inclusion”
http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/entertainment/sports/news.php?q=1602524363
10-12-20 It’s official: Professional sports in the United States have become the latest cultural triumph by the left, as the leagues are now nothing more than the latest ‘woke’ platforms with which to spew anti-American racism, bigotry and authoritarianism. One of the requirements — yes, requirements — is that players and athletes are not permitted to show any support at all for our president, Donald Trump, though of course, bowing down to his predecessor, Barack Obama, the god king, was also a requirement. The latest victim is a professional cyclist who has been booted from his team over his expression of support for the president, and in one of the most benign ways possible. What’s more, the decision was quote-unquote, to achieve inclusiveness. As reported by Yahoo! Sports: Cycling team Trek-Segafredo has suspended the 2019 junior road race world champion Quinn Simmons after he made comments in support of President Donald Trump on Twitter.

The claims further suggest that since the fireworks could not be stored till 2021, there was a spectacular display on the foothills of Mount Fuji in advance. The International Olympic Committee and the Japanese Government has postponed the Olympic Games until July 2021 because of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. However according to reports fireworks were displayed on July 24 to mark the day the Olympics were supposed to begin. The viral video is a display of spectacular and synchronised fireworks over a mountain range with a waterbody in the foreground.

5-29-20] Education Department gives schools deadline for aligning practices with Title IX The Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights has issued a letter of "Impending Enforcement Action" against several public schools that have allowed boys who "identify" as girls to compete in girls' athletic events. The letter investigated claims that the "Revised Transgender Participation Policy" enacted by several Connecticut schools "denied girls opportunities to compete, including in state and regional meets, and to receive public recognition critical to college recruiting and scholarship opportunities." "The actions of the CIAC, Glastonbury, Bloomfield, Hartford, Cromwell, Canton, and Danbury [schools] resulted in the loss of athletic benefits and opportunities for female student-athletes," the letter concluded. "One complainant student-athlete explained to OCR that no matter how hard she trained, she felt that she could never be good enough to defeat Students A and B [boys who had been allowed to compete in girls' events]." The female students "were denied the opportunities that Connecticut male student-athletes had of being able to compete, on a level playing field, for the benefits that flow from success in competitive athletics," the letter said.

Music legend warns NFL: Offend 'handful' ... or millions
http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/entertainment/sports/news.php?q=1533132906
7-31-18 There’s been a fight going on between NFL players and the league for two years over whether the multimillionaires on the field can turn their workplace into a political statement. It started when then-San Francisco 49ers quarterback and now-unemployed Colin Kaepernick sat down during the national anthem in protest of alleged systematic police brutality against young black men. The protest spread, along with a decline in overall attendance, leading to an NFL policy requiring players to stand for the anthem that has been put on hold due to a grievance filed by the players association. Now, “a lifelong football fan and a season ticket holder,” music legend Charlie Daniels, has written on his blog that the issue is simple: Does the NFL want to offend “a handful of players or “thousands, or possibly millions” of fans? “It’s just one of those tight corners where somebody is going to be offended,” he explained on his Soap Box post. He said the protests have “ruffled the feathers of much of the population, resulting in less fans in the stands and a somewhat dwindling television audience, plus leaving deep scars in the veterans community.

When in Doubt, Blame Moscow: US Officials Claim Russia Hacked Winter Olympics
http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/entertainment/sports/news.php?q=1519749636
2-2 7-18 Not only was a series of disruptions that took place during the onset of this year’s Winter Olympics blamed on hackers, now US intelligence reportedly claims it was a false flag operation conducted by Russia. The opening ceremony of the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang on February 9 was apparently marred by a series of technical difficulties, such as disruptions involving the Olympic website and broadcast systems, which local officials said were the result of a cyber-attack, according to the Washington Post. © Sputnik/ Anton Denisov Western Media Plan to Accuse Russia of Olympics-Related Cyberattacks – Moscow And now, as the event approaches its culmination, it appears that the attack was carried out by, who else, Russian hackers who even tried to make it look like a North Korean digital intrusion, the newspaper claims, citing "two US officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss a sensitive matter." According to WaPo, Russia’s Main Intelligence Directorate (also known as GRU) managed to gain access to up to 300 "Olympic-related computers", as well as to hack routers in South Korea and deploy malware during the beginning of the Olympics, though it wasn’t immediately clear whether these alleged actions were the cause of the disruptions during the opening ceremony. READ MORE: Fancy Bears Leak Reveals IOC Concern Over WADA's Alleged 'Anglo-Saxon Bias' The newspaper also claimed that a cyber-attack against the World Anti-Doping Agency two years ago, conducted by the hacker group Fancy Bears, which resulted in the release of medical records containing data on international athletes who have used banned substances, was also allegedly performed by GRU.

9-29-17 The National Football League may need to change its logo from a shield to a white flag. Because just five days after NFL players and executives made a foolish attempt to stand up to President Donald Trump, it looks like the league is ready to back down. Dozens of NFL players kneeled in protest during the national anthem this past Sunday, after Trump suggested that players who protest the anthem should be fired. Trump even promised to call for a boycott if the protests didn’t stop. Almost immediately, the NFL knew it was in trouble – and now some of the league’s signature teams are promising they’ll begin standing for the anthem again.

3-15-17 The obsession over sports, long analyzed as half-crazed, defies logical explanation. Even so, it is undeniable that organized athletics is big business. This standard certainly applies to professional leagues, but often it is overlooked just how much money is involved in "so called" amateur games at the college level. A Brief History of the National Collegiate Athletic Association's Role in Regulating Intercollegiate Athletics serves as a useful primer. Regulation of intercollegiate athletics may seem a desirable and necessary function to maintain the integrity of sport.

As regular readers of The Anti-New York Times are well aware, the Globalists have been waging a dirty war against the "B" in Putin's BRICS trade and finance bloc for some time now. Ever since the Latin American giant (along with Argentina and Venezuela) killed the FTAA (Free Trade Area of the Americas) and hooked up with Russia and China instead, the boys at Langley, supported by Sulzberger's Slimes and the rest of the Piranha Press, have been attacking Brazil with "spontaneous" uprisings, Ed Snowden - Glenn Greenwald leak threats, corruption scandals, impeachment drives, the Zika virus hoax and silly propaganda stories about how ill-prepared that "dirty and violent" Rio de Janeiro was to host the 2016 Summer Olympics. 1- About 10 years ago, big Brazil (along with Venezuela and Argentina) killed the FTAA - a cherished Globalist project that was intended to grow into the Western Hemisphere's version of the European Union.

Team USA Cheapens Olympics With Cold War-style Behavior
http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/entertainment/sports/news.php?q=1471456622
August 15, 2013 "Information Clearing House" - "SCF" - The public humiliation of Russian swimmer Yulia Efimova by American rivals was an ugly, chauvinistic display of self-righteousness. It was also a disturbing expression of Washington’s belligerent geopolitics by athletes who should be celebrating common humanity. Team USA, led by 23 gold-medal record holder Michael Phelps, are certainly in awesome winning form at the Rio Olympics, leading the medals table by a far stretch. But what good is all that precious metal when the athletes show such meanness of spirit and willingness to be stooges for their government’s jingoistic warmongering? It was the women’s 100m breaststroke final earlier this week where the sharpest action took place. The gold winner was 19-year-old American Lilly King who bested Russia’s Yulia Efimova into second place, taking the silver.

Simone Biles wins her third gold medal of Rio Games, crushing field in vault final
http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/entertainment/sports/news.php?q=1471362387
Aug. 14, 2016 RIO DE JANEIRO — Almost from the time she could toddle, Simone Biles was getting in trouble for jumping and flipping around the living-room furniture. As a young teen, she was initially dismissed by veteran coach Martha Karolyi as “just this bouncy thing” — a girl with an uncanny knack for acrobatics but no sign of the discipline required for elite gymnastics. Now 19, Biles has proven Karolyi wrong countless times since, much to the coach’s delight, winning three world all-around championships and, here at the Rio Olympics, leading the U.S.

Rio Olympics: will Brazil be ready? Why so much of the world thinks it won’t.
http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/entertainment/sports/news.php?q=1470502287
Aug. 4, 2016 When a new elevated bike path in Rio collapsed in April, hit by a fluke wave, the deaths of two people weren’t just seen as a tragedy. The collapse became an irresistible metaphor for the state of Olympic readiness in Brazil. As Rio prepares for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games, which open Friday night, the bike path is not the only disaster to serve that purpose. There were also the body parts washing up on the shore where beach volleyball games will be played, the toxically polluted bay that will host swimming and sailing events, and the skydivers who fell to their deaths trying to recreate the Olympic rings.

VIDEO: Softball Fans Told NO National Anthem at Game… Then THIS Happened
http://www.fourwinds10.net/siterun_data/entertainment/sports/news.php?q=1461248216
April 20, 2016 Sporting events and the national anthem go together like peanut butter and jelly, and most contests begin with a rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” as athletes and fans pause for a moment to show respect for the country that has fostered our freedom to enjoy these events. Last year, however, a softball game between Louisiana-Lafayette and Baylor was slated to start without the traditional national anthem being played. The game was the culmination of the Lafayette regional NCAA Softball Tournament, and the event’s attendees were told that because it was the third game of the day, there would be no national anthem due to time constraints. The patriotic fans at Lamson Park wouldn’t accept the excuse, however, and attempted to get the event’s announcer to play the song while the teams were warming up, according to The Acadiana Advocate. After those attempts failed, the hometown “Ragin’ Cajuns” fans decided to take matters into their own hands, and they belted out an awesome, a cappella rendition of our country’s anthem.
