7-26-22 Americans aged 65 and older are more likely to live in poverty compared to younger adults. Those between the ages of 35 to 54 are least likely to be in poverty, and according to the Department of Health and Human Services, the average poverty guideline for a single person is $12,880 a year. For a household of four it is $26,500 a year. Data from the University of Massachusetts at Boston’s Gerontology Institute’s Elder Index records data concerning the cost of health care, food, housing, and transportation. The index shows that currently, 54% of older women who live alone are considered poor by federal poverty standards and are unable to pay for essential living costs, with 45% of single men falling into the same category.

3-17-22 Robert Habeck, Germany’s economic and energy minister, is warning that his country might want to take it easy with all the Russia bashing and associated sanctions if it wants to remain prosperous. Germany’s planned boycott of Russian oil and gas, for instance, will only hurt Germans by ushering in mass unemployment and poverty. “If we flip a switch immediately, there will be supply shortages, even supply stops in Germany,” Habeck told public broadcaster ARD in a recent interview. Europe’s second largest economy, Germany is “intensely” searching for ways to diversify its energy supplies in the medium term. However, anything too abrupt will decimate the country.

5-19-20 The most immediate memory of the 'common pots' dates back to the dictatorship in 1982. Capitalism is a system to accumulate capital. People are only a commodity in this system. The Coronavirus crisis has enabled the capitalists to pay less for the healthy laborers to make more profit. The rest are left to their own demise.

3-31-20 http://endoftheamericandream.com/archives/supplies-are-starting-to-get-really-tight-nationwide-as-food-distribution-systems-break-down The big kill shot will be food and exposure. As more and more people are left homeless (exposure) and food rationing starts to take hold (which it will), the general population will become evermore weak from lack of food in the long run. However in the interim beginning as millions and millions of people are forced to start fasting, They will more than likely start to feel better than They have in years, or ever remembering feeling. The Communist always use food and forced labor camps to murder millions of people, and it will be no different here in America once this things gets a full head of steam.

And to be fair, they’ve put their money where their mouth is: over the last few decades California has built one of America’s most lavish welfare states. There’s just one problem: it’s not working. The sad truth of the matter is that California’s poverty rate is the highest in the country, at 20.

For the children and the flowers are my sisters and my brothers, their laughter and their loveliness would clear a cloudy day. And the song that I am singing is a prayer to non-believers, To come and stand beside us, we can find a better way. – From a John Denver song: ‘Rhymes and Reasons’) June 27, 2018 "Information Clearing House" - As a nation, we have lost our way! In the “political wheeling and dealing” of Washington government’s elites, far too many of these elected officials continue to pursue only their own self-serving interests. Getting re-elected is all that matters to these people. So the agendas and subsequent support of rich and powerful individuals and groups have become their priority rather than the common good and the critical needs of our nation.

Thousands of tons of New York’s human sewage is stuck on a train in Alabama… say what?

4-25-18 The 982 residents who live in the tiny town of Parrish, Alabama, have been stuck with a stinky, poop-filled freight train that’s been sitting on its tracks for several months now, and nobody seems to know where or when it might be removed. The train had reportedly been sent from New York City carrying tons of human excrement from the Big Apple, which was destined to be dumped into landfills in the rural south. But an injunction apparently stopped this from taking place, leaving the waste train with nowhere to go. While the dumping of human waste into southern landfills is nothing new, this particular load seems to contain something that the residents of West Jefferson, its destination, don’t want in their backyard. According to the town’s legal filing, previous releases of so-called “biosolids” results in the town becoming “infested with flies,” accompanied by the “smells of dead rotting animals as well as human waste.
